Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Power Equipment Test Engineer (Dallas Remote)
Reporting to the Director of Quality the Power Equipment Test Engineer Provide Compliance and Regulatory support to the Design and development of components, products, equipment and systems.
What a typical day looks like:
- Within their field of expertise, (e.g. EMC, Safety, Thermal) provide discipline specific inputs to system architecture.
- Ensure system compliance with budgets, standards and regulations.
- Provide reviews to the product design engineer to ensure Design for Compliance.
- Oversee product verification and characterization.
- Provide inputs to regulatory certification, standards compliance, product performance verification and reliability testing.
- Support the Quality Manager in preparation for and execution of audits.
- Develop Inspection of Final Product, Packing and Protection Quality Checks, and Quality and Safety Assurance Checks for Packout Area
The experience we're looking to add to our team,
- Typically requires a BS degree in related field with some related experience or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires 6 years of related experience.
- Previous experience with the following UL standards: 891, 1558, 857, 1008.
