Intern - Financial Intelligence Unit (Security)

Role
The Financial Intelligence Unit Intern will assist the department with special projects related to compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, OFAC and Red Flags of Identity Theft. The intern will assist with analyzing information and data to develop strategies to mitigate fraud risks; research OFAC sanctions programs and high risk transactions to provide management with feedback related to compliance risks and assist with alerts and investigations related to fraud, money laundering and terrorist financing.
This is a Part Time internship position up to 20 hours a week. Flexibility in scheduled hours between Monday through Friday 8 AM – 5 PM. The internship will start in early January and ends June 2022. As an intern at Capitol Federal you will have the opportunity to connect with other interns and employees through networking events.
