RAD Tech (Casual/PRN) (Finance)
NCH Radiology Department is looking for a skilled X-Ray Technologist to perform mobile X-rays, fluoroscopic procedures, and operate C-Arm and O-Arm equipment. This role includes servicing satellite clinics and providing imaging services to inpatients and outpatients at the hospital. Responsibilities involve ensuring patient comfort and safety, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining imaging equipment. Candidates should be certified Radiologic Technologists with experience in the mentioned procedures, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient care. The Radiologic Technologist will perform x-ray procedures including fluoroscopic procedures under the direction of a physician with established methods and procedures, is responsible for patient care, proper operation of all general diagnostic equipment. The radiologic technologist should report to the Radiology Manager or Radiology Supervisor.
Responsible for participation in departmental and hospital programs for Quality Assessment and Improvement, identifying opportunities to improve services, making recommendations and implementing actions as appropriate and consistent with the goals of the Nemours Foundation.
