Verify quality and approve or reject incoming material by confirming specifications and conducting TxDOT/ASTM Procedures as related to the operation of the Gulf Coasts' largest privately-owned demolition and construction aggregate recycling firms
Collect, analyze, investigate, document and report the lab results of aggregate material samples from all plant sites to ensure compliance with project specifications
Be a part of a team that approves in-process production by cross examining plant configuration and frequency testing with project specifications and communicating required adjustments to operations teams
Coordinate, document, organize and maintain records pertaining to all lab work and plant calibrations
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Ability to interpret, communicate and apply technical reports regarding soil properties/mechanics for the improvement of quality control across all divisions while simultaneously addressing customer quality complaints
Research and assist in the sourcing, product development and mix designs of various materials to maximize product reliability and minimize costs
Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives for 15 plus aggregate manufacturing facilities

What you'll need:
Must be 18 years of age
TxDOT, NICET and/or ACI Certification, preferred
Prior Experience of at least 3 years in aggregate materials
Strong organizational and communication skills
Microsoft Office (Excel/ Word/Outlook)
Working Conditions:
Must be physically able to work outdoors in all climate conditions, walk up and down stairs, and lift samples of up to 75 lbs.
Exposed to loud noise, dusty environment.
Required to wear safety equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, leather work shoes, hearing protectors, respirator, gloves and other safety equipment that may be required for the project.
