Manager Support Functions (Marketing)
Under the direction of the Plant Director, the incumbent has primary responsibility for the support operations of the Plant. This position has responsibility for one or more of the following areas: Inventory (including off-site warehouse, if applicable), Logistics, Mail Operations, Finance, Facility and Equipment Maintenance, networks and systems management, Safety and Security, and administrative support functions. The individual will be responsible for compliance with manufacturing and non-manufacturing policies & procedures, financial and non-financial measurement, and reporting. The individual will develop, implement, and sustain process improvement initiatives throughout the organization extending to suppliers and customers and utilizing lean manufacturing methodology. Will be responsible for leading, training, motivating, and the overall performance of support operations staff.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
EXPERIENCE: Models exceptional leadership behaviors. Able to balance the needs of the business, the customer, and the employees. Four to six years of manufacturing management experience. Strong leadership skills. Able to manage all employees. Able to manage multiple processes. Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills required. Conflict resolution, and employee relations skills required. Analytical and financial analysis skills required. Accounting is a big piece of this position.
EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE UTILIZED: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP software desired.
COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS: Communication with all plant personnel internal/external customers and vendors.
DECISION MAKING: Succession planning, employee relations, actions to satisfy customer requirements, quality reporting, staffing, technology changes, and process improvement.
OTHER: Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct responsibility for Plant Accountant, Mail Operations Leaders, Logistics Coordinator, Inventory Coordinator, and other administrative support positions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS: Manufacturing EnvironmentSalary: $70,600 -$75,000
Management Bonus Plan 8%
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
