Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Goldsboro and Rocky Mount to join our team!

We make, sell, and distribute PepsiCo and more beverages. We have the exclusive rights to make, sell, and distribute directly to stores in our territory the world-renowned PepsiCo and Keurig Dr. Pepper beverages. These exclusive rights make up the vast majority of our business and cover certain counties across five states.

We also create our own beverages, producing and distributing them to our customers' warehouses nationally. And we make, sell, and distribute to our customers' warehouses a growing portfolio of beverages nationally. These beverages make up a small, but growing part of our business.

Regional Sales Manager Role Overview

Works with all departments (external and internal) to ensure proper implementation of company sales plans and objectives for their geographic region of responsibility.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Primary site manager with overall responsibility for the facility including sales, warehousing, and other ancillary departments.
  • Manages the Profit and Loss for the region.
  • Responsible for assigned annual Sales Volume and Profit Plans
  • Leads, directs, and develops a group of managers, supervisors, and Route Sales employees to achieve performance goals.
  • Implements and consistently applies of all PBV policies and procedures including safety and EEOC.
  • Maintains, trains, motivates and ensures consistent adherence to policies for all employees within a regional location.
  • Works with payroll, accounts payable, and other paperwork as required.
  • Conducts market visits and store surveys to increase customer retention, ensure consistency in delivery and merchandising standards, CDA elements, and SKU introductions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or four (4) years in a related field required.
  • Direct store delivery experience in beverage industry preferred.
  • Management and leadership experience, supervising multiple pay grade levels required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills are necessary.
  • Also required is a solid understanding of the beverage business and willingness to accept, implement and lead change.
  • The ability to develop and execute a plan of action, prioritize changing agendas, delegate and follow up on assignments required.
  • Basic computer skills and analytical capability a must.
  • Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
