Warehouse Stager - GFAL - Staging ( Wed - Sat 6am -4:30pm) (Sales)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Reads production schedule or KIT Picking List, to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
•Collaborates with Senior Stager's, Stagers, Mixing Team Captains, and Mixing Set-Up Operators to insure the correct items are being staged based on the production schedule.
•Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
•Sorts and places materials or items on pallets according to predetermined sequence.
•Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, or other items and distributes items to production or another department.
•Marks materials with identifying information.
•Accurately records amounts of materials or items distributed by item number, lot number, location, and quantity by scanning the item, batch, and location numbers.
•Counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
•Arranges materials in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
•Uses computer/tablet to enter records.
•Completes various worksheets.
•Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant.
•Maintains inventory records
Knowledge and Experience
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
•Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to communicate with individuals and small groups. Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
•Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
•To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software and Manufacturing software.
•Current Driver's License and the ability to successfully complete the Griffith Foods Forklift Training program.
