Position Summary:

In this position, the Program Coordinator (PC) will be responsible for helping to create the necessary program support for NeighborHealth's Medical Assistant Education program. The Coordinator will serve as a liaison with Bunker Hill, future MA students and NH. The Coordinator will need to build relationships among these different parties, anticipate potential problems, and problem solve independently as the program evolves.

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for devising marketing strategies to recruit potential students from the surrounding community and NH staff and create student standards. The PC will assist potential MA students with their admissions paperwork and requirements to make sure they stay meet deadlines. The Coordinator will also work with a NH Medical Assistant Advisor to ensure MA students have all the necessary resources and support they need to succeed. The Program Coordinator will report to the ETI Director.

The Project Coordinator will report to the ETI Director. 

 

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. 

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least six (2) years in a customer service or an office setting. 

 

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Highly organized and comfortable using technology, including project management programs, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to anticipate potential problems and problem-solve independently.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work with differing parties both independently and as a team member.

    Hourly Rate:

    • Starting at $28.75 per hour, and up to $43.00 per hour based on experience.
