Project Summary:
Created in 2010, MSI's education practice area specializes in evaluating education programs and interventions, designing and implementing large-scale educational assessments, developing student and teacher assessments to monitor learning, conducting advanced data analysis, and improving the use of education data and evidence , including providing support to ministries of education and other technical agencies.
MSI is currently seeking Chief of Party applications for the anticipated Improving Learning Outcomes for Asia (ILOA) activity. This activity will provide analytical and implementation support services to USAID missions in Asia and the Asia Regional Bureau (USAID/Asia), to assist them with designing, implementing, and evaluating a full range of education programming from early childhood to higher education.
Position Summary:
The Chief of Party will be responsible for ensuring overall technical leadership and oversight of the Activity, responding to a range of task requests by the USAID/Asia Bureau, existing and future Missions and offices in USAID-supported countries throughout the Asia region. The Activity will provide a range of short-term analytical and technical services, including sector and student performance assessments, host-country education systems analysis, surge expertise, and training and institutional capacity development to strengthen local systems. The period of performance will be five (5) years, and employees are able to work remotely from home with occasional travel to the region as required (approximately 15%, pending lifting of travel restrictions) .
