Executive Assistant - Remote Eligible (Architecture)

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time. While we strive to provide competitive and transparent compensation, there may be circumstances where an offer is above or outside of the listed range. We are open to discussing salary expectations with qualified candidates considering factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location will all be considered during the hiring process.

Executive Assistant | Pay Range:  $68,600.00 - $85,750.00

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to play a critical role in supporting our Officers with high-level administrative operations, strategic initiatives, and confidential communications related to our Board of Directors, Regional State Committee (RSC), and various key committees. This is your opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and help shape the future of the energy industry.

Essential Functions: 

  • Serve as a trusted partner to SPP's Executive Officers, handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.

  • Own the logistics, scheduling, and coordination for Board, RSC, and committee meetings.

  • Craft and prepare high-level documents including agendas, ballots, and support materials.

  • Partner with meeting planners to ensure smooth execution of major events and quarterly Board meetings.

  • Draft and maintain key materials such as meeting minutes, committee rosters, and annual assessments.

  • Provide stellar administrative and logistical support for travel, expenses, and project execution.

  • Represent our executive team with professionalism and polish in all internal and external interactions.

  • Be a go-to liaison for member organizations, board directors, and committee members.

To be successful in the role we're looking for: 

  • Ten (10) Years of relevant work related experience in professional office environment
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Strong Interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently, requiring minimal supervision

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • The ability to coordinate multiple projects with great attention to detail

  • The ability to maintain confidentiality

  • The ability to work under stress and within deadlines, despite interruptions

  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in word processing

  • Understanding of and compliance with SPP Policies and Procedures

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 Position Type, Location, and Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Days and hours of workweek are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.

 Travel Requirement:

  • This position requires moderate travel (approximately 0-15%)
