Analytics Consultant - Clinical Operations (Information Technology)



Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position scheduled Monday through Friday, typically between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Applicants hired into this position can work remotely from most states. This will be discussed during the interview process. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Analytics Consultant to join the the UW Health Enterprise Analytics Ancillary team to build data solutions from huge quantities of data, work through complex problems, and drive data literacy throughout the organization.

We are seeking an Analytics Consultant – Clinical Operations with the:

  • Ability to analyze huge quantities of data and glean understanding and insight.
  • Skill to develop a deep understanding and powerful displays of data.
  • Curiosity to ask questions and ensure the answers are correct.
  • Passion to dig into data and effectively articulate its end use.
  • Ability to think critically, learn continuously and share ideas.

Education:

Minimum – Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Data Science or related field (Four years relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement)

Work Experience:

Minimum –

  • Demonstrated success applying relational thinking in writing and validating queries against multiple data sources
  • Demonstrated success creating analytic solutions such as reports, dashboards, and business plans
  • Demonstrated success identifying needs and requirements for analytic solutions
  • Demonstrated success using quantitative and qualitative methods to identify opportunity
