Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of residents and lead a team with enthusiasm? We are seeking a Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to bring energy and expertise to our skilled nursing facility in Mohave County, AZ.

Job Summary
As our RCC you will be a Nursing Assistant Supervisor for all Certified Nursing Assistants and Nursing Assistance. You will play a vital role in ensuring top-notch resident care and a positive environment for all our aides.
Essential Job Functions
· Complete and manage daily schedules for employees with efficiency and precision.
· Report staffing concerns to the Director of Nursing to ensure seamless operations.
· Lead and oversee restorative care, ensuring adherence to physician's orders, efficient charting, and timely completion of tasks.
· Conduct interviews, complete hiring processes, and schedule orientations for new nursing assistant staff.
· Audit CNA documentation and resident schedules for efficiency, accuracy, and completeness.
· Maintain a supportive and collaborative environment, ensuring aides follow policies and exceed industry standards of care.
· Update resident care plans regularly, providing continuous education to nursing assistants.
· Participate in the development and implementation of resident care plans, contributing valuable information to the care planning process.
· Conduct room audits for pocket plan accuracy, environmental safety, and cleanliness.
· Ensure quality resident care under RCC supervision, addressing concerns promptly and maintaining a clean environment.
· Speak with residents, resolving concerns and reporting any unresolved issues to the Director of Nursing.
· Foster communication amongst caregivers, assist with transfers, and ensure residents' comfort and well-being.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of:
· Master medical terminology and stay updated on the latest advancements.
· Be a safety champion, well-versed in rules, policies, and infection prevention/control procedures.
· Acquaint yourself with emergency/disaster response and evacuation procedures for a proactive approach.
· Familiarize yourself with Arizona State Board of Nursing Standards of Conduct for Certified Nursing Assistants (R4-19-814).
· Embrace the full understanding of residents' rights, ensuring freedom from restraints and abuse, and promptly reporting incidents to the charge nurse.
· Champion abuse reporting and crime suspicion procedures with a vigilant eye.

Required Education and Minimum Training
· High school diploma/GED preferred.
· Minimum 1 year experience preferred.
· Must hold a current state certified nursing assistant license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing.
· Previous experience in geriatric care preferred

Special Requirements
· Obtain/maintain Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Card at employee's expense.
· Obtain/maintain CPR Certification.
· Complete annual Tuberculosis Testing.
· Complete required 12 hours of annual in-service training.
