Position Title: Program Manager, Telecommunications Network Deployment (M2)

Role

The Program Manager, Telecommunications Network Deployment will oversee and coordinate strategic planning, resource management, and ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network infrastructure and program management, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple network enterprise projects.
  • Develop and implement program management frameworks and best practices.
  • Ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Manage and allocate resources across projects to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor program performance and ensure on-time project delivery and adherence to scope and budget.
  • Identify and mitigate program-level risks and issues.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers at all levels (Level 1, 2, and 3).
  • Communicate program status, updates, and milestones to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • PMP certification strongly preferred but not required.
Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in project and program management, with a focus on network infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in a carrier and/or data center infrastructure and network operations environment.
  • Experience with network build planning and execution within a carrier or a data center environment
  • Understand network technologies, including DWDM, Ethernet, OSP/ISP fiber.
  • Experience managing capital and operating expense budgets, forecasting, and project cost controls
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in program and project management software and tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project, JIRA).
  • Experience in managing simultaneous, large, complex programs and delivering on schedule and on budget.
  • Experience assessing priority and severity of issues by understanding business objectives, technical costs, and user needs, as well as weigh alternatives for resolution.
  • Communicate complex technical ideas, challenges and potential solutions to both technical and non-technical team members and confirm understanding.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

Where you will work

This role falls into our hybrid work model, which is 2-days work from home (Friday and Monday) and 3-days in the office (Tuesday through Thursday) to optimize collaboration, relationship building and key stakeholder engagement and may require some travel as needed.

Works onsite in a normal office or warehouse setting and may require some travel as needed.

Compensation

The salary range offered for this position is $111,600 - $153,500 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
