“A Day in the Life”
As the Technician Associate you will follow standard procedures and established guidelines to reimage, virus scan, update firmware, functionally test, and calibrate test equipment. This position requires high volume production, high quality, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize daily work. This position is a critical part of the process to get test equipment to the customer when they need it and ready to operate.
“What You'll Do”
- Functionally test, reimage and virus scan along with calibrating electronic test equipment.
- Follow IAW provided procedures, company standards and/or customer requirements for inbound or returned equipment and outbound equipment orders.
- Document action taken in the software driven inventory management system.
- Ensure calibrations performed are traceable to the National Institute of Standards or other nationally recognized measurement systems.
- Clean and accessorize equipment and maintain a clean and orderly lab area.
- Work on assigned projects with minimal supervision making decisions within established guidelines and policies.
- Identify parts and accessories related to the electronic equipment.
“Must Haves”
- Ability to follow functional test, and calibration procedures.
- Electronic experience preferred
- Familiar with oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Strong customer focus, teamwork, organizational and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Special Considerations:
- General warehouse and laboratory environment
- Lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 45 pounds
- Long periods of standing or sitting
