Process Improvement Manager Finance (Project Management)



Job Summary

Job Description

Manage key processes and projects to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency of Medline's Divisional Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes.

Work closely with FP&A counterparts from specific divisions, Commercial, Corporate, Operations, and other areas to ensure consistent and timely delivery of financial insights to drive business decisions.

  • Engage employees as work effort leader, overseeing development, execution, and ongoing improvement of key processes while ensuring quality content and timely execution.

  • Support strategy development across the organization, initiative identification and prioritization, and establishment of baseline measurements and success factors for each simplification project.

  • Establish business cases and project work plans; lead cross-functional teams for prioritized simplification efforts.

  • Use process improvement methodologies such as documenting current state and future state end-to-end processes, stake holder identification and analysis, communication plans, etc., to implement process improvements.

  • Implement innovative processes or changes that support the goals of Finance function.

  • Actively participate in the identification and prioritization of simplification process opportunities by engaging with process owners across the finance function. Assist with simplification tools and documentation maintenance.

  • This is a high-level individual contributor role - management responsibilities generally limited to leading day-to-day activities and outcomes of a group of employees.

  • May be involved in hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma.

  • At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: project management, financial analysis, accounting.

  • Experience in data analytics.

  • Experience processing all relevant details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing clear and concise conclusions.

  • Experience taking the steps to ensure the assignment/ project is accomplished within tight timeframes. Experience controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines.

  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a relatable field.

  • Project management, process improvement, financial, and/or accounting certification(s).

  • Experience in the indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training, and assignment of work/projects to other members of a team.

  • Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft PowerBI, and/or Microsoft PowerApps.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$110,240.00 - $165,360.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
