What You'll Do:

The Electronic Services Specialist is accountable for performing activities to support executing customer transactions while ensuring transactions are in compliance with documented policies and procedures and within predetermined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).  Incumbent may also perform additional administrative duties in support of wire room operations including opening and closing and balancing activities.

Essential Duties:

  • Monitor, review and release wires from all online queues and perform duties to ensure work is processed in a timely, efficient manner and meets all established guidelines

  • Perform wire related research and respond to inquiries regarding wires (e.g. customer requests, legal requests)

  • Perform beginning and end of day balancing procedures

  • Assist customers with activating wire authentication PINs

  • Perform administrative activities to support customers including user profiles, customer profiles, permissions, templates

  • Perform customer callbacks as required by bank policy and customer wire agreements

  • Support incoming customer and banker inquiries

  • Assist with testing of system upgrades and troubleshooting of system issues

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years banking experience

  • Associate degree or equivalent

  • Understanding of Electronic Payments including Wires, Real Time Payments and ACH, SWIFT Network, Clearinghouse

  • Familiarity with Banking Regulations such as Dodd-Frank, Reg E; Previous customer contact experience a plus

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours

  • Team player

  • Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel

  • Excellent attention to detail

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $45,000-$50,000 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
