Employee Shuttle Driver (Finance)
UNIQUE JOB REQUIREMENTS:
This is a unique opportunity to join the Boardwalk's great Guest Service Team, with work locations that are often first contact with Guests. This position requires a Class C Driver's License and proof of a good driving record. Driving record will be monitored during employment through the DMV pull program. Expect to work around 16-24 hours per week from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Must be available as early as 6:00a.m. to 1:30a.m. on weekends and holidays. Must be responsible and safety conscious.
JOB TASKS (IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
- Greet every Guest and answer Guests questions and provide consistent, friendly and helpful guest service.
- Drive Seaside Company and Concessionaire employees from the Employee Parking Lot and the Metro Station to the
Boardwalk in shuttle van.
- Drive vehicle safely, strictly obeying all traffic laws and driving carefully in crowded traffic.
- Keep to the planned driving schedule, making timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations of those riding in the van: e.g. making sure that all passengers buckle safety
belts.
- Assist riders in and out of van.
- Perform regular inspections of the vehicle before and during operation to ensure maintenance upkeep.
- Operate two-way radios between drivers to communicate with other drivers and Supervisors.
- Perform light cleaning duties of the vehicle.
- Complete rider count sheets.
- Watch employee parking areas for vandalism and report suspicious activity to security.
- Monitor capacity of employee parking lots, posting signs and informing employees when the lot is full.
- Monitor the parking of employee vehicles and report when vehicle occupy more than one space.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
RELATIONSHIPS INTERNAL:
Contact with all levels of Seaside and Concessionaire employees.
RELATIONSHIPS EXTERNAL:
Minimal external contact.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be willing and interested in providing outstanding Guest Service. Guest Service experience is helpful.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to provide instructions in a consistent, friendly and helpful manner to Employees.

- Ability to do simple math calculations quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as the ability to work in a team environment, in coordination with other drivers.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbal and written.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to climb in and out of vehicle.
- Able to look under shuttle vehicle and bend to perform safety inspections.
- Able to stay seated for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 30lbs.
- Able to physically drive safely: good vision, hearing and reflexes.
- Bi-manual dexterity.
LICENSES AND INSURANCE:
Possess and maintain a valid U.S. Driver's License
DMV printout required/excellent driving record
