Administration Associate (Hybrid) (Administrative)

The Administration Associate will be responsible for conducting, processing and assisting the GI LTD Claims organization in providing support through existing processes.

What you can expect:

  • Performs general clerical and administrative duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing, ordering supplies and equipment.

  • Responsible for answering incoming 800-line calls from Prudential associates regarding short and long term disability claims.
  • Creation of new disability claims using DCMS; Business Objects Reports and PeopleSoft
  • Submission of expense vouchers using Accounts Payable system
  • Maintains electronic and paper file systems.   
  • Supports records retention including off-siting of files, file scanning, data gathering and data entry to related systems.
  • Administration of Lotus Notes databases.
  • Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Administration Associate position, the applicant must have:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work and communicate easily with associates at all levels.
  • The ability to interact and partner with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, anticipate and set priorities, and to apply sound business judgment to tasks and decision making.
  • Ability to react to change in a positive and productive manner
  • Strong PC knowledge and experience in Windows XP, Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint) and Adobe.
  • Flexibility with regard to schedule (some 5pm phone coverage required)
  • High School diploma/equivalent (college education preferred)
  • Knowledge of Disability helpful
  • Hours for this position will be 9:00AM to 5:00PM EST

Please note - this position is a Hybrid role and will require being on-site 1-4 times per quarter.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $43,600.00 to $64,800.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
