About the Role

Work within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others too Regarding process skills/tasks: Operates process & equipment efficiently. Able to consistently apply the necessary standards to keep the process under control. Regarding Mechanical skills/tasks: Understands the Operation and equipment, what it does/how it works & can carry out CIL tasks and perform simple maintenance tasks. Lead small change-overs Order and prepare raw materials and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain an adequate communication with previous and next shift as well with other persons involved in running the machine Maintain an optimal housekeeping situation. Secure the quality level of the products by regular checking against the product specification rejecting and blocking if necessary. Complete all required documentation and data files during production.

What You Will Do

  • Completes BOS observations and gives meaningful feedback
  • Work within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others
  • Operates process & equipment efficiently
  • Is accountable for the performance of his/her equipment.
  • Able to consistently apply the necessary standards to keep the process under control.
  • Develops standards (CL, CIL, PM, OPL, WPS, etc.) through observation to gain deep understanding of the equipment.
  • Troubleshoots stops in a structured way using the available tools
  • Understands the Operation and equipment, what it does/how it works & can carry out CIL (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate) tasks and perform simple maintenance tasks.
  • Support changeovers
  • Order and prepare raw materials and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain an adequate communication with previous and next shift as well with other persons involved in running the machine.
  • Maintain optimal housekeeping. 
  • Secure the quality level of the products by regularly checking against the product specification, rejecting and blocking if necessary.
  • Complete all required documentation and data files during production.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School or GED required
  • Must be able to achieve Tech 1 skill level within 18 months
  • Supports all safety enablers and initiatives in a positive manner
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively train others
  • Displays effective conflict resolution skills
  • Strong machine and process knowledge
  • Effective facilitation skills
  • Displays effective leadership style by leading by example
  • Displays behaviors and attitudes consistent with ESSITY core values
