Human Resources Specialist II (Finance)
Provides both tactical and strategic HR support to a rapidly growing Aerospace component manufacturing site. The site is a non-union, 3 shift operation that manufacturers seals and bearings for use in the Aerospace industry. The focus of this position is associate engagement, talent management/development, and talent acquisition. This position is also responsible for a variety of human resources transactional activities.
Responsibilities:
• Coaches managers to improve associate performance
• Participates in interviews and feedback meetings
• Assists with the implementation of HR policies and initiatives
• Provides exceptional customer service by answering and responding to general HR questions for employees in a timely manner
• Supports open enrollment process for benefits
• Timely submittals to corporate team for employee change requests and record maintenance
• Conducts audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action
• Processes special pays and assists with payroll issues
• Assists with employee relations and disciplinary issues
• Creates and manages the logistics of Total Associate Engagement Events and community outreach initiatives
• Prepares and maintains personnel files, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality
• Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports as need from database
• Assists in administration of compensation program; helps to monitor performance appraisal process
• Prepares, distributes and posts communication announcements
• Performs other related duties as required and assignedExperience and Skill Required
This position requires the application to be a US Person with an US permanent residence. A US Person a US Citizen or Green Card holder
• Bachelors degree strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent customer service skills
