Responsible for up-keep and maintenance of all production and facilities equipment to allow for maximum efficiencies within established quality and safety standards.  

This position pays up to $28 per hour (based on experience).  Currently filling positions on 2nd shift.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complies with all applicable standards such as USDA, FDA, relevant CFRs, GFSI, and other applicable customer requirements
• Adheres to HACCP, Allergen Control Program, GMPs, product specifications, and other QA plans and required process control procedures to insure processes, work in progress, raw materials and finished goods meet the specified quality and standards.
• Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by operating and repairing equipment in a safe and efficient manner to minimize risk to personnel and damage to equipment and inventory.
• Respond to all calls and/or requests for maintenance assistance promptly.
• Take necessary measures to set up production lines in preparation for daily production runs and ensure line(s) start at scheduled times.
• Ability to repair, adjust and/or replace parts and equipment as necessary to maintain expected line efficiencies and minimize downtime.
• Ability to perform complete equipment changeovers as needed.
• Ability to complete work orders and routine mechanical duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively through the use of radios and log books. 
• All other duties as assigned.

IDEAL CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS:

• The candidate should have the ability to interact with co-workers and establish a good working relationship with peers and supervision.
• At minimum, possess high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred candidates will have experience in a food or other type of manufacturing operation.
• Candidates must pass required maintenance competency testing (Ramsay Corporation).
