Project Management Engineer (Finance)
Model and promote the Mission and Values of Nicolet Plastics, LLC both internally and externally during customer/vendor visits and company related events.
Promote safe work practices.
Orchestrating engineering activities in areas of new product design and development, sustaining engineering for product improvements, and / or customer revisions and cost reduction initiatives.
Plan, control, and monitor project objectives.
Assess projects overall performance against project scope, time, and cost.
Provide leadership and guidance to engineering and manufacturing resources to converge on a high-quality product that exceeds customer expectations, meeting delivery schedule, and within established budget.
Develop and optimize robust component and product specification to meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements.
Work in a cross-functional team consisting of other engineers, technicians, quality, automation, and production staff who are responsible for the design and manufacture of new products from concept through to commercial production.
Act as a team leader on specific product development projects also monitor progress and enforce project timelines.
Determine and maintain project schedules by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements.
Take all necessary steps to assure that new product design and implementation achieve agreed-on goals for timing, safety, function, and cost.
Call and lead project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to assigned projects for supervisory and interdepartmental review.

Schedule and monitor project activity to achieve "on time" results including follow-up with all functional areas and external suppliers to insure timely response.
Insure project success by supplying pertinent information to other functional areas.
Prepare cost estimates for tooling, part pricing, fixtures, secondary/specialty equipment, quality gages, and automation solutions while preparing quotes for new business development.
Assist with manufacturing engineering.
Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Stay current on knowledge of the plastic injection molding processes and consider where new and innovative approaches to projects could be advantageous for Nicolet Plastics. Introduce new processes for consideration by the engineering department.
Establish and maintain contacts with outside tooling, automation, and equipment vendors.
Provide capital equipment justification, as requested.
Work closely with customers as project opportunities evolve. Provide advice and counsel as situations require.
Provide technical engineering support to the Sales Team as needed.
Other duties as assigned by Director of Sales.
