Provides administration support and recordkeeping for employee benefits plans and programs, such as group insurance, company paid (Basic) life and voluntary life, medical and dental, and flexible spending accounts (FSA).
Provides administration, support and recordkeeping for all leaves.
Communicates and educates employees about their benefits and ensures timely and accurate enrollment and recordkeeping for new hires. Also ensures that changes and recordkeeping of benefits is accurately administered and communicated to appropriate parties throughout the year.
Organizes and implements open enrollment, new hire orientation, and CHI's annual health fair so that employees are well aware and educated about their benefit offerings and choices.
Verifies the calculations of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintains accurate reports relative to premiums, claims, employee deductions and costs.
Resolves administrative questions and problems with benefit provider representatives, and reviews, audits, and submits bills for payment accurately and timely.
Provides customer service and problem solving to employees to help answer questions, resolve issues, provide information and help employees understand company benefits.
Maintains and ensures the accuracy and security of all medical records and leave files.
Assists the Human Resources department in applying or answering questions about HR policies, procedures and practices effectively.
Provides support where needed to help with other insurance plans administrative needs.
Stays current on all benefit and leave requirements and laws to ensure compliance with benefit and leave administration.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -
Strong administrative assistance, problem solving and customer service skills
Excellent computer skills with word, excel and working with data.
Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and interpersonal
Flexibility and ability to work with the human resources team to assist wherever needed in the department
Minimum 1-3 years of benefits and leave administration experience
Current knowledge of benefit and leave administration, laws and requirements.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
