Primarily responsible for driving the NA Capital SBP project portfolio, partnering closely with senior leaders to drive prioritization, allocation and governance, while also bringing an Enterprise level view of the total capital portfolio in the SBP time horizon. Taking advantage of this viewpoint to identify and drive synergies across the portfolio to deliver optimized capital processes, drive capital $ efficiency, and ensure our investments align to corporate goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner closely with NA Leadership to create and execute a five-year NA capital portfolio roadmap, covering capital class 1 through 6.  Also supporting NA capital reporting and appropriation routing endorsements.
  • Collaborate with your counterpart Capital Portfolio Leader (IFP,IPC & EM) to bring an Enterprise lens to cross-segment SBP plans, identify synergies and bring the big picture, to unlock optimized capital efficiency Vs traditional approach.
  • Leverage Enterprise view to identify benchmark capital management methods and processes, using to develop and drive adoption of a new enterprise best in class standards.
  • Lead NA & support Enterprise capital SBP allocation and governance process in partnership with the Enterprise Treasury team, building and sustaining cross-functional relationships to accomplish objectives including partnerships with Segment/ABU/Functional teams.
  • Ensure that NA capital allocation & priority adheres to to Value Stream, Innovation and Facility Sustaining Strategies while continually evaluating the most efficient way to meet business results (and local priorities) through use of Capital spending.
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Capital Sustaining & Standards Team to support standardization in managing sustaining operational requirements to further drive capital efficiencies in capital class 5.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Capital Efficiency Team to ensure the portfolio of programs have been pressure tested and drive maximum benefit.
  • Support and drive capital governance processes to bring bring capital analytics, ensuring ROI and performance are in line with objectives.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, make decisions and dimension opportunity utilizing data.  Similarly identifying process improvement opportunities and new ways of working to drive efficiency.
  • 8+ years of previous regional or global responsibility.
  • Proficient knowledge of global industry trends and best practices in capital investment strategy & management.
  • Strong business & financial acumen.
  • Excellent leadership and direct/indirect team management capabilities
  • Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed organization and hierarchy, specifically influencing without authority.
  • Effective, consistent global communications and stakeholder management skills, able to drive organizational alignment.

Salary Range: $128,000 - $158,000 USD

Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.

Kimberly-Clark will support in-country relocation for the chosen candidate for the role. The benefits provided will be per the terms of Kimberly-Clark's applicable mobility policies. The benefits/policy provided will be decided at Kimberly-Clark's sole discretion.
