Occupational Therapist OT- FULL TIME - SIGN ON BONUS (Healthcare)



Full Time Occupational Therapist (OTR). Responsibilities to include providing care in the following settings: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Outpatient, and Home Health Care. 

Competitive starting salary up to $43 per hour based on experience

Eligibility for a sign-on bonus after 6 months and a retention bonus after 12 months.

The Occupational Therapist (OTR) is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing occupational therapy services for patients in both skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and home care settings.

Responsibilities of a Occupational Therapist (OTR)

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs impacting functional performance
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving ADLs, mobility, fine motor skills, safety, and overall independence
  • Provide direct therapy interventions including therapeutic exercises, functional task training, adaptive techniques, and equipment recommendations
  • Treat a diverse patient population including post-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, and medically complex cases
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs, compensatory strategies, and use of assistive devices
  • Document assessments, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and company standards
  • Monitor and reassess treatment goals, modifying the plan of care as necessary
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PTs, SLPs, nurses, and case managers to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Ensure compliance with state licensure requirements, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and HIPAA standards
  • Travel between SNF locations and patient homes as assigned

Qualifications of a Occupational Therapist (OTR)

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Master's or Doctorate degree).
  • Current and valid Ohio Occupational Therapist License.
