Shelf Set Coordinator (Transportation)

JOB TITLE: Shelf Set Coordinator
SUMMARY: Responsible to set up product design layouts and supports the execution of layout programs as directed from sales team.
JOB DUTIES:
· Develop relationships with chain account buyers and key store staff with an in-depth understanding of their needs and requirements
· Execute designs and layouts for each account as presented by management
· Assist with collect, interpret, and utilize product data to maximized assortment, space, and convenience.
· Develop and maintain shelf sets and present new items.
· Professionally communicate with sales managers and sales teams using effective support materials and data under direction of management.
· Attend sales and branch meetings as required
· Participate in evening and weekend promotions as necessary
· Configure space management priorities of SSCO and the account
· Utilize sales tools (smart, eagle eye, iri, iri data web, shelf set, etc.)
· Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
· Good communication skills and ability to partner and collaborate effectively with others
· Time management and organizational skills
· Knowledge of iPad/Computer applications and proficient with current selling software
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Basic knowledge of retail initiatives (particularly category management and information-based selling
· Proficient in Microsoft office applications, (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some nights, weekends, and holidays
· Ability to work and drive positive results in a fast-paced team environment
· 2 years of prior sales experience
· Direct experience in wholesale beer distribution and/or brewer/supplier operations
PREFERRED QUALIFICTIONS:
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple projects
· Proficiency with current shelf space software
· AA/AS degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field or related experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
· Capable of remaining in a stationary position more than 50% of the time while operating a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator, printer and/or copy machine.
· Repetitive lifting, up to 50 lbs. overhead.
· Bending, pulling/pushing up to 250 pounds on a two-wheeler.
· Ability to continuously stand or walk.
· Ability to bend and occasionally squat.
· Occasional carrying and reaching.
