Your impact:
Prevention is looking for a full-time senior commerce editor, which includes writing and editing responsibilities. In this role, you will write daily SEO-driven stories and keep top-earning commerce stories up to date. You will interview a wide variety of experts to determine the best recommendations for Prevention's audience and assess health and wellness (beauty, personal care, fitness, etc.) products. You'll use your product expertise to contribute to the print magazine and help steer the brand's awards programs. You will also need to look at the big picture and work closely with the digital director and central e-comm team to help strategize for the best ways to meet and exceed Prevention's commerce goals.
You should be comfortable using data analytics tools to monitor traffic and commerce performance, with a willingness to learn more in this role, and have industry experience in traffic and affiliate revenue data. The base salary for this role is between $83,000 and $86,700. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
