Inventory Controller (Biotech)

Inventory  Controller  is  responsible  for  monitoring  inventory  levels  and  ensuring  that identified levels are accurate. This monitoring is completed through the issuance of regular material  cycle  counts,  discrepancy  identification  and  reconciliation,  and  correction  of identified variances.

Key responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve material discrepancies.
  • Administer and oversee the completion of regular cycle count activities, to include posting of counts and issuance of recounts.
  • Provide instruction to Logistics personnel for the completion of required SAP transactions (Material Movements) to resolve variances in the inventory system.
  • Audit material transactions
  • Generate and distribute SAP reports as required
  • Cross   train   Logistics   personnel   in   Inventory   Control   processes   as   required   for completion of SAP transactions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements:

  • Must have supply chain and inventory background
  • Excellent professional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to re-prioritize activities as required by changes to daily activities
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and react to any changes in daily scheduled activities
  • Able to work within a team, as well as drive team activities
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently to complete all required activities Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex subjects. Strong typing and computer skills, including efficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and
