Leidos QTC Health Services is hiring a HR Business Partner as a trusted advisor to understand the business they support, and partner with leaders in their assigned client groups as well as our HR Centers of Excellence in the development and execution of purposeful HR solutions and programs that enable business success and help build the workforce of the future.  The HR Business Partner reports to the Human Resources Manager.  The HR solutions and programs developed and executed by the HR Business Partner for assigned client groups require expertise in multiple HR disciplines including but not limited to, performance management, talent acquisition, employee development, compliance, and employee relations matters. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the business leaders and employees
  • Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, in support of HR programs and policies.
  • Counsel managers and employees on situational issues; participates in internal investigations, corrective actions, and coaching, to resolve employee conflicts
  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence and Business/Operations groups to provide high-impact HR solutions.
  • Support employee relations, ethics, or compliance investigations (initial interviews & fact gathering); maintain tracking for issues/concerns and handle inquiries from employees or managers
  • Consistent application of Leidos QTC Health Services HR policies to mitigate risk and ensure equitable solutions
  • Execution of critical HR processes, including compensation, performance management, talent acquisition, talent development and workforce planning
  • Other HR projects as assigned.

 Competencies:

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the HR strategic partnership in driving business results
  • Critical thinker and creative problem solver with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Must have strong communication skills to include verbal, written, and interpersonal

 

Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Working knowledge of applicable state and federal employment, and compliance requirements
  • Technically competent in Microsoft Office programs, and previous experience with HR management software is required.
  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check
  • Levels being considered:

    • The salary ranges for each level are as follows:

      • Level 3 - 4+ years of experience:  $81,500 - $99,500 + 8% bonus eligibility

      • Level 4 - 7+ years of experience: $98,500 - $120,500 + 8% bonus eligibility
      • Level 5 - 10+ years of broad-based experience in HR, including employee relations and knowledge and understanding of EEO laws, Affirmative Action, and conflict resolution: $118,500 - $144,500 + 9% bonus eligibility

Location:

  • Role is Remote but must be able to support the from San Antonio, TX office location in Central Time
  • 15 to 25% Travel to San Antonio, TX office location, as needed
