Material Handler 2 (Transportation)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The above duties may be performed anywhere from 0-100% of the workday.
(Employee needs to be able to work in designated department/area and participate, if applicable, in CDS Global's ergonomic stretching/strengthening exercise program).
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assumes additional responsibilities as requested or required.
Operates all production and mail processing equipment.
OPTIONAL DUTIES-POWER EQUIPMENT DUTIES
Employee in the Material Handler position may have the opportunity to operate power equipment and perform power equipment tasks using a forklift/fork truck, order picker, and a swing reach truck. This is not a requirement of the job. Training would be provided. The Working Conditions, Physical Requirements, and Equipment are listed separately for these duties below.
EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND LICENSING
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
One year of warehouse experience with CDS Global preferred.
Warehouse and CRT experience required.
Ability to acquire operating license for all necessary machinery.
Basic verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to review data and make decisions based upon specific written/verbal guidelines.
Simple math skills.
Ability to react to change and remain productive.
