Custodian - Association Wide (Finance)
At least 18 years of age
Ability to read and write
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to adjust schedules to suit the needs of the organization.
Motivation to work independently or with others to provide thorough, efficient custodial services.
Physically agile and dexterous.
Basic math skills.
Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and agents.
Outstanding organizational skills.
CUSTODIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintaining clean facilities by performing daily/weekly/monthly duties in all areas of the building and grounds.
Duties to include but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, windows, mirrors, empty trash and recycling
Clean sidewalks, parking lots and other outdoor areas of trash and debris
Assist with snow removal
Collect and/or remove soiled towels from the locker rooms and other parts of the facility
Do laundry (towels, mop heads) throughout shift
Restock consumables (soap, toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer) and other supplies
Observing proper chemical handling procedures when working with cleaning agents, including wearing gloves, goggles, or masks and following written or verbal instructions
Maintaining cleaning equipment.
Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
Assisting with event preparations and clean up.
Interacting with members, staff and visitors in a respectful, positive manner.
May require various shift assignments
Report any building damage or mechanical deficiencies to Custodian Director
Other duties as assigned
