Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) has an immediate need for a Production Assistant for Wollaston Alloys Inc. in Braintree, MA, to join our team. Wollaston Alloys is a stainless steel and high alloy sand casting foundry that manufactures castings for the military and power generation industries. The Production Assistant is responsible for Recording and Coordinating the flow of work and materials between different production departments and examining orders for products.
Responsibilities include:
Receive all Returned Materials (RMAs), verify count, and deliver paperwork to Quality
Receive, Verify and Record customer-specific parts (plate, pipes .... etc.)
Complete all data entry for all receipts and fill out appropriate forms as needed
Assist Purchasing Department in maintaining Inventory and Inventory Records.
Aid in the identification of parts and the location of parts in a heavy manufacturing facility (Foundry)
Updates sales department on the status of production parts as requested by customers.
Attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard, such as completing all data entry of production and data for other departments such as the Mold, melt, clean room, shipping ... etc. on a daily basis
Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required to improve the performance of work duties.
Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies and procedures
Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
Qualifications:
Must be able to lift or maneuver up to 75 lbs.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent Associate Degree in business management
Creative thinking and problem-solving ability
Good listening skills
Excellent attention to detail
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changes
Self-Motivated
Patience and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor
Education: High school diploma or equivalent Associate Degree in business management
Experience: 4+ years previous experience in a data entry, warehousing
Ability to communicate with customers in English verbally and in writing.
Computer skills using Odyssey, Excel, and Outlook.
Valid driver's license is required.
