OEM Account Manager Automotive - Remote (Biotech)

The role of the Automotive Group OEM Account Manager Automotive has the primary focus on increasing market penetration and maximizing sales, developing relationships and meeting scorecard targets. This role establishes and builds strong client relationships over time that allow for continuity and ongoing representation reinforced by sales support/delivery programs, and communications to other relevant organizational functions/divisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary focus on increasing market penetration and maximizing sales, optimize gross margin return, developing relationships and meeting scorecard targets.
  • Plans how to establish and maintain major account relationships and meet personal sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products, also find new business and develop accounts
  • Typical accounts are highly challenging, complex, diverse customers who require ongoing client relationship support.
  • Independently prepares sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions.
  • Monitors competitive activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-5 years Sales experience in the metal industry working with Automotive contracts.
  • Knowledgeable in Carbon and Aluminum Flat Roll
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in sales and full knowledge of the product line and its applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time in the Michigan, Ohio and East Pennsylvania
