Specialist, Quality - 1st Shift (Finance)

1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

As the Quality Specialist, you will perform internal audits of the manufacturing process and supporting departments, as well as verify the implementation of ISO policies and procedures described in the documented quality system. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Process customers' return orders; troubleshoot orders and resolve discrepancies
  • Utilize warehouse management system and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Verify product quality and integrity, and recommend resolutions as necessary
  • Record and maintain data in accordance with company standards and generate reports as necessary
  • Provide exceptional customer service to incoming callers and customers; proactively communicate with customers and the management team to ensure necessary requirements are met
  • Process, audit and file various documentation; perform various office support activities
  • Communicate daily with the direct ecommerce customer and on-site and collocated customer service teams
What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • 1 year of related experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to interpret graphs
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
It'd be great if you also have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one, small and large group situations to customers, clients and coworkers
This job requires the ability to:
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
