Senior Research Scientist - Pediatric Surgery lab (Finance)
The Senior Research Scientist role is a critical research support role for the division of Pediatric Neurosurgery.
Faculty member is the Director of the Pediatric Movement Disorders Center and Director of Pediatric Spasticity and Epilepsy Surgery.
The role will serve as lab manager for four pediatric neurosurgeons and four research personnel. The focus of this role will support research programs regarding:
• Epilepsy surgery
• Spasticity
• Cranial/spinal trauma
• Vascular malformations
Position Summary:
Coordinates, supervises, and directs major biomedical research projects. Provides advanced scientific and technical expertise to contribute to the formulation, implementation, and analysis of techniques, procedures, and results of research projects.

None.
Minimum Education:
Doctorate Degree.
Minimum Experience:
Four (4) years of experience in related research environment and have verifiable publications within the field of the research project.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
This position may include work involving potentially hazardous chemical, biological or radioactive agents.
