Principal Cloud Devops Engineer (Finance)
Responsibilities:
•Utilize DevOps and CI/CD tools for provisioning resources, configuration management, workflow creation, modification, and deployment.
•Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and security configuration to detect, remediate, and enforce security standards in AWS and Azure.
•Perform manual and automated cloud configuration assessment to identify weaknesses in multi cloud environment.
•Identify automation opportunities to improve DevOps operations.
•Provides tool, process, and technical support during all phases of the cloud resources lifecycle.
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.
•Define and implement appropriate policies for Azure and AWS security capabilities
•Secure-Cloud configuration experience, (VPC, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Guard Duty, AWS Config, , Azure monitor), Cloud-security technologies (VPC, Security Groups, Sentinel, WAF, Firewall, Gateways, encryption, Key Vaults, NSG, Defender for Cloud and third parties tools)
•Collaborate with architecture and other cloud stakeholders to ensure cloud technologies are designed and implemented securely.
•Provide guidance, consulting and work closely with the DevOps team on security weaknesses in the cloud environment.
•Investigate and resolve complex cloud infrastructure related issues (including security), recommend and develop solution to mitigate the issues, document resolution steps.
•Address non-compliance, audit, pen testing, and assessment findings resolutions.
•Participates and support in various projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the cloud environment.
•Performs situation analysis and makes recommendations for solving problems.
•Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects
•Document and design various processes
•Operate in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws
•Strong automation mindset and passion for root cause analysis and strategies to mitigate issues.
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field
•Five (5) years of professional experience in technical engineering.
•Experience securing Azure and AWS environment.
•Experience assessing Azure and AWS environment for compliance.
•Three (3) years of professional experience with cloud computing (IAC, Microsoft Azure, AWS)
•Experience using Terraform and Ansible at the enterprise level
•Technical knowledge and aptitude in the areas of network, cloud IaaS & Pass services
•Understanding and experience of cloud-security technologies, secure-cloud configuration, policies.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrates abilities and/or a proven record of success as a senior team leader, including:
•Working experience with DevOps tools, processes, and procedures
•Working knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps best-practices.
•Holds relevant certification.
•Experience with Azure networking tools (V-WAN, VNET, BGP, etc.)
•Implementation of encryption, logging, secure storage design, and securing containers
•Experience working with security monitoring tools and infrastructure; and designing, implementing security infrastructure and tools.
•Experience with regulations, standards such as: NIST-CSF, FedRAMP, CIS, and others.
•Designing and developing end-to-end automation solutions including system orchestration / IT automation, security monitoring and configuration in accordance with DISA STIG, CIS, and NIST benchmarks, and automated unit / functional / integration testing, in addition to designing, developing, and integrating an end-to-end Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Development (CD) DevSecOps solutions stack to support these efforts
•Proven understanding of DevSecOps concepts, and has implemented or working knowledge of using those skills
•Proficiency in Azure IAAS, Azure PAAS, Azure DevOps (Azure Kubernetes Services a plus)
•Managing and maintaining software defined infrastructure environment, configuration and build scripts for app production environments
•Maintaining operational stability; enforcement of security measures, testing, development and deployment of new Infrastructure related technologies
•Coordinating production systems, information systems, and technology infrastructure necessary to support application/platform prior to deployment
•A working understanding of code and script (Python, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell, etc)
•Experience with Azure solutions such as App Services, Service Fabric, App Insights, Storage Accounts, Resource Groups and monitoring tools
•Integration with ServiceNow and ServiceNow CMDB a plus
