Program Manager, Student Engagement & Educational Pathways (Finance)



The Florida Center for Behavioral Health Workforce (FCBHW) was commissioned by the Florida legislature through Senate Bill 330 (2024) \"to support an adequate, highly skilled, resilient, and innovative workforce that meets the current and future human resources needs of the state's behavioral health system in order to provide high-quality care, services, and supports to Floridians with, or at risk of developing, behavioral health conditions through original research, policy analysis, evaluation, and development and dissemination of best practices.\" The FCBHW is proudly housed at University of South Florida in the College of Behavioral
and Community Sciences.

The Program Manager for Student Engagement & Career Pathways, reporting to the Assistant Director of Education and Professional Development, is essential to accomplishing our strategic and legislative imperatives. Major responsibilities of the Program Coordinator, include, but are not limited to, engagement with community stakeholders across Florida, student outreach and academic and career pathway education, developing and leading mentoring programs, and convening and engaging the student advisory council.Bachelors degree in Behavioral Health, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or a related human services field AND 2 years of professional experience in a role with program coordination functions. A Masters degree in a related field may substitute for 2 years of professional experience.

FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.

  • Serve as a liaison between the Center and key subject matter experts, stakeholders, and participants on matters involving outreach, programming and educational initiatives. Develop and disseminate communications regarding the program and answers questions.
  • Track program progress, adoption, or performance and provide ongoing reports to leadership/program sponsors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Travel: instate travel required
    Schedule: Hybrid - in Tampa on-site or in office
