Resident Care Coordinator (Personal Services)



The Resident Care Coordinator is a position whose main function is to support the Resident Care Director in the day to day wellness operations. The RCC is required to be a CNA/Med Tech.
Major Responsibilities include:
Responsible for preparing the staffing schedule and is the 1st point of contact for all call outs and, if employee calling out has not covered their shift, then RCC will need to find coverage. May need to cover open shift(s). Also, communicate with BOM directly regarding callouts, late arrivals and early departures.
Follow up with 72 hour Charting in QuikMar; Incident Reports, Antibiotics and new Meds, Residents returning from hospital, rehab., new admissions.
Attends and/or runs Daily Shift Meeting(s). Performs daily audits regarding care tasks to include making beds, trash removal.....
Prepares Shower Schedule
Performs cart audits; pharmacy deliveries; reviews and sends orders; completes assignment sheets per shift/daily.
Oversees lead CMA's
Other duties as assigned by RCD or ED
