OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
This position will report through the Quality Systems team, but also cover some Calibration and Maintenance Lab tasks. The Quality Systems team provides Quality oversight for plasma logistics and distribution, deviations/CAPAs, change controls, risk management, inspection readiness, inspection management, incident escalation, and other Quality System processes.
The Calibration and Maintenance Lab is responsible for ensuring BioLife equipment is suitable for its intended use, properly maintained in a good state of repair, and remains in a validated state. In addition to executing, implementing, and continuously improving Quality System processes, this role will also support the execution of the equipment lifecycle. Tasks may include testing and assessing new technologies, configuring and qualifying new equipment, evaluating impact of equipment changes, managing repairs, maintenance and calibration tasks, service provider management, and decommissioning of faulty/expired equipment.
