Program Manager (Finance)



The BUILD program (Bridge the Unmet Industry Leaning Demands for Research Administrators) is led by the University of South Florida in collaboration with the University of Central Florida. In Year 1, BUILD will pilot and revise materials, protocols, and assessment. The pilot sample (N=40 students) recruited from USF and UCF. The program scales in years 3-5 with 80 students per cohort.

Responsible for managing the administrative activities for the 5-year workforce development program sponsored by a grant from the National Science Foundation. In this key role, the Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the workforce development program. The Program Manager will devote full-time to this program and be responsible for day-to-day management including distribution of outreach materials, processing payment of Advisory Council and mentor stipends, tuition waivers, supporting meeting scheduling, agendas, minutes, and course scheduling and processing of purchase orders and invoices.Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree.

Facilitate and manage regulatory requirements of the grant, including all operational requisites, reporting obligations, fiscal monitoring and related deliverables.

Coordinate with the PIs across multiple institutions to establish, test, refine, and scale the program.

Provide logistical support for the creation of courses, recruitment of program participants, students and mentors, as well as the launch of the program first at USF, then at other institutions.

Create and implement student recruitment strategies, activities include marketing, engagement, application, admission and financial incentives.

Establish program communication plan, supporting transparency of progress toward milestones and enhancing the visibility of program across partnering institutions. Activities include managing website, social media, managing content for courses, and coordinating with library on data repository and warehousing of the information.

Ensure that USF meets the requirements of the project(s) including all operational requisites, reporting obligations, fiscal monitoring and related deliverables. Apply
