Electrical Engineer I (Finance)

As an Electrical Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will design, develop, and implement electrical systems, provide technical expertise, and support cross-functional teams to ensure project success. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this Electrical Engineer I role, you will impact the company's ability to deliver high-quality, innovative, and technologically advanced electrical engineering solutions. Your technical expertise and commitment to excellence will contribute to the company's success, reputation, and growth in the industry. You will provide reliable technical assistance to internal and external customers. You will provide professional coverage of Technical Support Helpdesk with a specific focus on Machine controllers and subsystems. You will support focus on accuracy, timely feedback, and customer satisfaction.

This position will be for 3 rd Shift, 8:00 pm => 6:30 am EST. 4 - 10hr shifts with 3 days off per week.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.As an Electrical Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will design, develop, and implement electrical systems, provide technical expertise, and support cross-functional teams to ensure project success. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule.You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 1+ years' of experience troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • At least one year of experience reading, reviewing and interpreting electrical schematics.
  • Customer facing experience.

We Value

  • Experience in the automation/material handling industry.
  • Ability to focus on relevant information and identify and execute key details.
  • Experience with C programming languages.
  • Knowledge of programming and installing Allen-Bradley/Siemens/Modicon/Lenze PLCs.
  • Understanding SQL, creating queries, and data analysis.
  • Experience with VFDs, electric motors, and sensing devices
  • Knowledge programming and installing Panel View (HMI).
  • Ability to consistently make and execute timely decisions.
  • Capability to quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with Knowledge Management & Call Center Management.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to proprietary software running sortation systems in distribution/fulfillment centers.
  • Be part of a team that solves complex technical problems for external customers.
  • Develop a broad understanding of customer needs.
  • Ensure proper documenting and recording of all activity and communication. Address systemic coordination issues.
  • Drive timely identification, investigation, resolution, root cause analysis and replication of technical issues.
  • Develop Technical Support processes. Support the knowledge-sharing mindset, methodology, and tools.
  • Build internal relationships to expedite complicated cases.
