Commercial Construction Administrator (Project Management)



Job Purpose
This Administrator provides daily support to the production superintendents and office staff teams in a variety of capacities. This role provides administrative support for company leaders to ensure they can efficiently accomplish key tasks and company initiatives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Material management, purchasing and tracking
· Heavy interactions with vendors, liaison between vendor, field, and office
· Supports production and office team in various capacities
· Ordering Certificates of Insurance and qualifying coverage against contracts
· Should be proficient in the construction world and terminology
· Will perform various Website research projects
· Work with staff for data entry in relation to new construction
· Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
· Ability to work in Excel, Word and Adobe
· Conduct all business in accordance with established policies and procedures.
· Support and abide by the values of the company
· Other duties as assigned

Experience/Education Requirements

· 2+ years experience in a similar capacity preferred
· EXCEL knowledge is a must
· Excellent MS Office and PowerPoint Knowledge
· Familiarity with office technology

· Working Conditions, Travel/Schedule expectations and Physical Demands:
· Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment
· General technology as it relates to office administration
· Regular business hours with additional hours required during certain periods

Expected Hours of Work/Travel

Traditional work schedule is M-F, may include occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the- area and overnight travel may be expected.
