Gardener - Hilton Anatole (Finance)

The Hilton Anatole, an iconic resort in the heart of Dallas, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Gardener to help maintain our lush landscapes and world-class grounds. As part of our facilities team, you'll bring beauty, serenity, and a touch of nature to the guest experience every day.
The starting wage is $15.00 per hour and must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
What We're Looking For:
- Must have an open availability to work weekends if needed
- A green thumb and a passion for outdoor work
- Previous landscaping or gardening experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eye for detail and pride in creating beautiful, welcoming environments
What will I be doing?
As a Gardener, you would be responsible for maintaining the appearance of the gardens and grounds in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Maintain the appearance of the hotel gardens and grounds applying landscaping techniques including, but not limited to, pruning, fertilizing, planting, weeding, trimming, watering, mowing and cleaning
- Report pests and/or disease problems and apply pesticides, as needed
- Keep and maintain records of all chemical applications
- Greet and respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
