Director, Behavioral Health - Crossroads (Personal Services)
The Director of Behavioral Health is responsible for successful operation of the Inpatient behavioral health units (adult and geriatrics) and resource/liaison for all psychiatric care within Augusta Health. The Director of Behavioral Health is responsible for providing a Vision and Strategic Direction for the psychiatric care that aligns with the Augusta Health Vision and Strategic Plan.
The scope of responsibility for the Director of Behavioral Health includes the following general areas:
*This position follows the guidelines under the Virginia Department of Health and will require fingerprinting and a CPS check
Education Requirements
BSN required, Masters preferred
If not licensed as an RN, this position requires prior Behavioral health experience with a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience and Bachelors required. Masters preferred
Experience Requirements
3 to 5 years of management experience
License
Valid RN license to practice in the State of VA
