Regional Director - Health and Productivity (Remote/Virtual) (Marketing)

The Business

The Health and Productivity practice supports distribution in delivering a competitive advantage to our customers within the 1000+employer segment and works cooperatively with claims, absence management, Business Intelligence and Underwriting. 

The Role

The Regional Director position in the health and productivity analytics and consulting practice will work with Prudential's group policyholders to help them maximize productivity and minimize absence. Responsibilities include:

  • Define the impact of lost time and disability within the 1000+ premier and national client employer space. Determine the readiness of a client to integrate the various appropriate lost time and disability management programs
  • Develop absence and disability management programs for appropriate employers – 1000 lives and above. Serve in leadership/coordinating role for Health and Productivity Management at the regional sales levels
  • Develop policies and practices to support the integration of the various lost time benefit programs
  • Consult with senior managers (Sr. VP HR, CFO's, Compensation/Benefit Managers) of large, complex organizations to conduct presentations, obtain information critical to the disability analysis, and to present findings and rationale for recommendations of Health and productivity programs
  • Analyze comprehensive lost time data and corporate policies/practices concerning a company's disability and lost time management performance and results
  • Identify the organizational and professional characteristics of the respective return to work program's structure and performance.  Determine the return on investment (ROI) for a company based on the patterns of lost time and development outcomes
  • Describe and demonstrate to customers the value of an absence and disability management program and create methods by which they can adopt the recommendations and solutions identified
  • Conduct formal presentations at conferences and seminars on topics related to absence and disability management and health and productivity
  • Represent Prudential at selected large case prospect/finalist and renewal meetings

Your Expertise

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A minimum of 5 years' work experience in one or more of the disciplines related to absence and disability management and/or health and productivity interventions
  • Understanding of the principles of absence & disability management and the specialty areas of integrated disability and absence management
  • Proven independent project leadership. Able to take a project from its initial conceptualization to design, development, implementation and evaluation
  • Excellent public speaking, persuasive and negotiation skills
  • Work independently and demonstrate ability to provide results in a timely manner
  • Superior analytical skills including the ability to create program models from data, information and interviews utilizing basic computer applications such as spreadsheets and data bases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create professional and credible reports and documents
  • Effectively participate in highly analytical and relatively ambiguous work situations and structures. Comfortable working on multiple projects at a time
  • Strong creative problem-solving and research skills
  • Ability to travel up to 5 - 10 days per month

It'd be a plus if you have:

  • An advanced degree or professional certification

*Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident. Salary range specific to Colorado: $140,300-189,800 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
