Electronics Technician (Finance)



1) Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after construction.
2) Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
3) Excellent organizational, interpersonal, team building, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to be constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintained overtime. Communication with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customer and other external sources.
4) Install and maintain electrical control systems and solid-state equipment. Write commissioning procedures for electrical installations. Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assembles, and systems to correct functional deviations.
5) Experience in SAP or similar software environment.
6) Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assembles, or systems under simulated operation conditions, and record results.
7) Proficiency in personal computer and Microsoft suite applications to include but not limited to spreadsheets, word processing and access.
8) Evaluate engineering proposals, shop drawings and design comments for sound electrical technician practices and conformance with established safety and design criteria, and recommended approval and disapproval.
9) Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment. Analyze and interpret test information to resolve related problems.
10) Ability to read blueprints, read manufacturing outlines for electronic products, read schematics and read technical drawings.
11) Ability to electrically maintenance plant equipment by servicing, calibrating, testing, install and maintain equipment, repair PLC electronics, troubleshoot electronic components, equipment or systems.
12) The effectiveness of this position is measured by the timely, accurate and cost-effective preparation of statistical and financial reports.
13) Perform physical activities that require that require use of arms and legs such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials. Works safely within the plant, follows all safety rules and programs.
  • 2 Year associate's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or equivalent experience with Industrial Electronics.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience commissioning and troubleshooting machine/ process controls
  • Fluent in editing and developing PLC programs, proficiency with MS Office or any other software.
  • Able to deliver complete and accurate electrical system drawing packages
  • Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with automation and power management systems
  • Effective analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
