Accounting Technician - On Site - St. Al's (Finance)
TheOn-Site Accounting Technician administers billing, ICCP and Financial Assistance accounts for the Saint Alphonsus Early Learning Center. Performs accounting activities such as preparation of various account statements and reports.
Responsibilities:
Tracks schedule changes, charges, credits, third-party billing accounts (ICCP) and invoicing while maintaining a clean account database in EZ Care Software. Prepare and submit payroll deduction reports every bi-weekly. Follow up and submit collections accounts when applicable. Prepare and provide accurate year-end statements to parents in January. Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills required to perform well; uses best practices and demonstrates up-to-date knowledge and skills in technology. Professional communication, discretion, and confidentiality with parents, staff, and hospital partners regarding financial matters and records. Ability to execute a variety of office and center tasks, including making copies, filing, answering and returning calls and emails, sending faxes, preparing written communication, etc. Serve and support in other office and classroom tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High School degree or equivalent required. Two years or more of related experience in accounting/bookkeeping preferred. One year or more of related experience in customer service and staff scheduling preferred. One year minimum working with children. Knowledge of various software and database programs including EZ Care. Must be Idaho STARS registered with in the first 90 days of employment. Must have current Boise City Child Care License. Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations. Understanding of early childhood care and education preferred.
Schedule:
This is a full time schedule. Schedule varies between 6:30am-6:30pm.
