A Day in the Life
This Senior Clinical Systems Engineer position will support the Clinical Engineering team and be a key member of the Systems Center of Excellence working to commercialize a Surgical Robotics Platform.
Clinical Engineering links Research and Development to the clinical setting by working closely with engineers and clinicians from pre-concept, through product development, to commercialization. We bring in-depth knowledge of the clinical environment and collaboration with clinicians to the design process with cross-functional R&D. Combined, we define and develop the function of products within the robotic platform to ultimately improve outcomes for the patient. Clinical Engineering input primarily contributes to the User Needs, Design Input, and Design Process stages of product development, integrating products into robotic clinical applications.
This role will involve working closely with our team of Clinical Engineers to represent clinical use of our device to both internal and external audiences. This position will focus on quantifying the clinical environment, usage analysis, preclinical lab execution, and procedure specific system setup.

Responsible for supporting the Clinical Engineering team, the successful candidate must be able to work independently, handle multiple tasks in parallel and communicate effectively with internal and external teams. This role will participate in the R&D process through a variety of means:
Must Haves: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
