Senior Financial Systems Manager (Finance)

Description:

The Senior SAP Manager will be the lead accounting operations contributor for the SAP implementation. This role will be responsible for developing key accounting processes within the new SAP platform. This role will also be responsible for preparing the highly complex stock-based compensation, equity and cash flow accounting files.

Essential Functions:

• Leading role from General Accounting for the SAP implementation. Responsible for developing key accounting processes within the new SAP platform. Responsible for providing periodic SAP implementation project updates to the VP of Financial Reporting and Senior Director, Global Consolidations and Accounting. This job leverages knowledge from the accounting operations area to ensure processed are properly defined and established within the new SAP platform.
• Responsible for preparing analysis of stock-based compensation expense and disclosures. Responsible for reviewing third party valuation reports for newly issued stock-based compensation awards.
• Responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information from across the Finance organization in order to prepare the statement of cash flows and the statement of equity. Responsible for confirming accounting treatment of new transactions identified during each quarter to ensure proper presentation within the SEC filed financial statements.

 

Education:

• Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Accounting - Required

Experience:

• 7 years or more in Accounting
• 3 years or more in ERP system (utilization and/or implementation)
• 2 years or more in Project management

Skills: Specialized Knowledge:

• Proficiency in utilizing and understanding ERP system flow for accounting transactions
• US GAAP, specifically Cash Flow and Stock Compensation accounting

Licenses:

• CPA--Required
