Role Overview

As the assistant fitness director, you'll have a big mission. If you choose to accept it, your mission will be supporting the Fitness Center Director with the daily operations and programming of the onsite fitness center, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for residents.  This role assists in coordinating wellness programs, maintaining equipment, and delivering exceptional customer service. As you can likely tell, 'how' things are done matters just as much as ‘what' was done here at BH!

Key Responsibilities

  • Explain, promote, and register residents for the various fitness classes and personal training available at the fitness center.
  • Schedules and assists residents with rock wall equipment, safety, and procedures.
  • Assists in scheduling group fitness class schedules and instructor's scheduling.
  • Assists fitness program development through on-site events and marketing.
  • Completes safety checks and compliance of gym equipment, rock wall equipment, and gear.
  • Tracking weekly metric reports to track and assess group exercise classes and facility usage.
  • Mentoring less experienced personal trainers and fitness center attendants.
  • Assists in scheduling and promoting seasonal sports leagues for residents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You Have

  • Previous customer service background primarily in industry/position related to fitness. Requirements

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (work schedule may vary). Some overtime may be required and ability to work extended hours including “on-call” and/or participate in a rotating “on-call” schedule as needed to meet business needs.
